Medrad Inc. said Tuesday it picked Jack Darby to lead the company's contrast injector and catheter business.

As vice president of Medrad Interventional, the 20-year industry veteran will act as general manager for diagnostic and therapeutic lines, the Warrendale, Penn.-based company said.

Previously, Darby served as senior vice president of global marketing and distributor sales for Aga Medical, which was bought by St. Jude Medical Inc. last year. Before that, he spent 15 years at Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Cordis Corp., ending up as vice president of commercial operations and global stent marketing.
