Toshiba America Medical Systems said Wednesday Stephen Bumb will lead its X-ray vascular business unit.

As the new director of the Tustin, Calif.-headquartered company, Bumb will launch strategic marketing plans and coordinate with Toshiba's global business unit on the needs of the U.S. market.

"He has a proven track record of success in the medical industry and will be instrumental in further growing Toshiba's market share in the XR/VL business," Doug Ryan, the company's vice president, marketing and strategic development, said in prepared remarks.
