Sonora Medical Systems, a leading supplier of after market products, services and test equipment to the medical imaging market, announces the signing of an exclusive license and supply agreement with Fischer Medzin Technik with headquarters in Stuhr, Germany.
Fischer is currently one of the largest independent ultrasound service and after-market ultrasound system providers in Germany.
The agreement calls for Sonora to convey certain proprietary know-how, advanced training and intellectual property to Fischer in order for the company to establish a comprehensive multi-vendor service (MVS) ultrasound transducer repair operation for the German speaking countries in Europe. Additionally Fischer will market and sell to clinical users certain ultrasound test device products designed and manufactured by Sonora.
The President of Fischer Medzin Technik, Roman Fischer worked for ATL (now Philips) for 25 years before founding his own company. "We have established strong service and sales relationships with multiple hospitals in German speaking Europe and are proud to have established a long-term business agreement with such an internationally known partner as Sonora Medical Systems. The addition of probe repair will further expand the number of valuable services we currently offer our customers." Roman Fischer said.
