Eddie Sloan Jr. is stepping down as director of equipment procurement for independent parts dealer AllParts Medical LLC, DOTmed News has learned.

Thursday is his last day, an AllParts staffer said.

In a press release sent Thursday afternoon, AllParts clarified Sloan's new relationship with the company:

Eddie has decided to step down from his role as Director, Equipment Procurement at AllParts due to personal interests. Eddie will continue his involvement with the company on an advisory basis and work closely with AllParts in the procurement of equipment and parts. He remains a shareholder in the company.

"Eddie, as one of the founders of AllParts Medical, has been a valuable contributor to our team and we look forward to continuing to work with Eddie in this new capacity," Steve Cannon, president of AllParts, said in the release.

Sloan joined AllParts in 2006, according to his LinkedIn page. Before joining AllParts, Sloan spent nearly two decades with parts dealer ReMedPar Inc., which was bought last month by Aramark Healthcare.

AllParts provides medical equipment, parts and training services, and was incorporated in 2006, according to state records. Its 80,000-square-foot parts and testing center is located in Nasvhille.
