Agfa Healthcare said Tuesday it signed a three-year, multi-source contract with group purchasing organization Premier healthcare alliance to supply its members with X-ray film, cassettes and the Drystar series of imagers.
The contract, which goes in effect Sept. 1, is the latest deal the Mortsel, Belgium-based film and device company has reached with Premier since the two first worked together in 1995. Agfa said it also has contracts with Premier for computed radiography machines and image management products.
The agreement covers 2,500 hospitals and 75,000 alternative health care sites, Agfa said.
