MedEquip Biomedical, a patient monitor repair and sales company, has tapped 20-year industry veteran Paul Raffaelli to serve as director of business development.
Raffaelli, 48, stepped into his new position Aug. 22, the Doral, Fla.-based company said.
"I am a customer advocate who found a company that is customer-focused like me," Raffaelli said in a statement e-mailed to DOTmed News.
Previously, Raffaelli worked for Sonora Medical Systems and, most recently, Global Medical Imaging, which he left in July. Raffaelli also served as the 2010-2011 vendor rep for the Florida Biomedical Society, MedEquip said.
"We have some very exciting plans to further develop our relationships and partnerships with customers," Raffaelli said. "In the coming months, we will be reaching out to find out how best to serve our existing and new customers."
MedEquip was founded in 1993.
