DMS Topline Medical, which sells used and refurbished patient monitoring, ultrasound and imaging parts, said Tuesday it's now offering biomedical depot repair services.

The Fargo, N.D.-based firm said it has also expanded its warehouse capacity by 5,000 square feet to accommodate six new bench repair spaces, a clean room, and added inventory.

"Whether a health care facility is experiencing a reduction in manpower or is looking for a cost-effective alternative to replacing their medical device, our biomedical depot repair services offer phone technical support and repair diagnosis, loaner equipment options, and quick turnaround and warranty for repairs," George Fraza, general manager of DMS Topline Medical, said in a statement.
Standard repairs are usually finished within two to three days, according to the company's website. The company also stocks about $8 million worth of spare parts in inventory for speedier fixes.

DMS Topline Medical is a subsidiary of DMS Health Technologies, which was bought by Otter Tail Corporation in 1993.
