Block Imaging International, which sells and services used and refurbished medical imaging equipment, said Friday it joined the International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers, or IAMERS, a trade group.
"We believe in the mission of IAMERS to raise the standard for refurbished imaging equipment and service around the world,"
Jason Crawford, president of Block Imaging Parts & Service, and the company's U.S. IAMERS representative, said in a statement.
Brian von Gunten, vice president of global operations for the company, and based in Munich, will represent Block for IAMERS' European branch. Block's headquarters is in Lansing, Mich.

IAMERS, founded in 1993, lists over 100 members in its Web directory.
