DMS Topline Medical, a refurbished medical equipment and parts vendor, said Tuesday it hired Dan Heitzhausen as a patient monitoring sales specialist.

In his new role, Heitzhausen will cover sales, rentals and depot repair services for defibrillators, EKG machines, patient monitors and other equipment and associated parts.

Heitzhausen has worked in the industry for more than two decades, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Oceans Medical Consulting, DMS said. Before that, he managed accounts or handled sales for Midmark Diagnostics Group, Schiller America, Toshiba America Medical Systems and Ledford Medical Sales, according to his LinkedIn page.
