Rigel Medical, a company that makes testers for infusion pumps, defibrillators and other medical devices, said Friday it named Ian Fisher its new north European sales manager.

Fisher will be responsible for growing the company's business in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Russia and Scandinavian countries, Rigel said.

Rigel, a division of Seaward Electronic Ltd, is based in Peterlee, England.
