Samsung Medison named Michael Podnay vice president of sales for its western U.S. division.
Podnay, an 18-year industry veteran, will be tasked with growing sales west of the Mississippi for the Korean electronics giant's ultrasound subsidiary. In his new role, he'll report to Brian Keith, the director of U.S. sales, Samsung said.
Before joining Samsung, Podnay served as a regional sales manager in radiation oncology for Orfit Industries, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to Orfit, Podnay worked at GE Healthcare, most recently as director of reproductive medicine, according to LinkedIn.
