Telford, PA (May 16, 2006) De-Tec Anesthesia Detection Services, Inc. and Draeger Medical Inc. are pleased to announce that the companies have entered into agreements relating to the sales and service of Draeger anesthesia devices effective April 1, 2006.
In accordance with the transaction, Draeger Medical will be offering factory-direct service support for all Draeger anesthesia devices in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont and West Virginia that were previously supported by the De-Tec service organization.

De-Tec Anesthesia Detection Services, Inc., which has addressed Draeger anesthesia customers service needs for more than 25 years, will now focus on activities related to the sales and service of other products. De-Tec will continue to sell, but not service, certain Draeger products, and will no longer be providing repair or maintenance service on Draeger anesthesia devices. All such service will now be offered and provided directly by Draeger Medical.
The integration of the De-Tec anesthesia service business exemplifies Draeger Medicals commitment to enhancing its service offerings whenever possible.
