MALVERN, Pa.--June 5, 2006--Siemens Medical Solutions has announced three new executive leaders who, building upon their current experience in key leadership positions within the company, will further Siemens' vision for the future - to empower its healthcare customers with trendsetting information technology (IT) and imaging solutions, enabling them to improve quality, reduce costs and transform patient care.

Tom Miller, currently president of Health Services (HS), the healthcare IT Division of Siemens Medical Solutions, will join the Group Board of Siemens Medical Solutions on July 1, 2006. Replacing Miller in a seamless transition as the leader of the healthcare IT Division will be Janet Dillione, who has been that Division's chief operating officer (COO) since 2005. Dillione will begin her new role as president of the HS Division on July 1.

Following a distinguished 20-year career with Siemens, including leadership roles with Siemens Energy and Automation, Tom McCausland has announced his retirement from his current position as president and CEO of the Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. CSG, with responsibility for sales and service of Siemens' healthcare business in the U.S., including imaging, healthcare IT, consulting and service solutions. Kolem, who currently serves as the president of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Division of Siemens Medical Solutions, which is located in Germany, began to transition to his new role on June 1, 2006.

"The most important asset a company has is its people, and Siemens Medical Solutions has immeasurable wealth in this newest group of leaders," said Erich Reinhardt, Ph.D., president and CEO, Siemens Medical Solutions.
