Pharma executive Brian A. Markison has joined the board of directors of Lantheus Medical Imaging Inc., the imaging contrast agent company announced Monday.
Markison joined the board as part of his new position as "industry executive" with Avista Capital Partners, the $4 billion private equity firm that owns Lantheus. Avista separately announced Markison's hire on Monday.
Markison previously led Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc., a dermatology drug firm, before it was bought by Novartis AG's generics branch, Sandoz. Before that, he helmed King Pharmaceuticals and worked for nearly two decades at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Lantheus said.
