About The School
The School of Nursing's Continuing Education Program has the opportunities and resources for nurses with different educational and experiential backgrounds to maintain and expand their knowledge, skills, and competencies to meet their current and future needs in nursing practice.

Mission
The Continuing Education Program responds to state, regional and national needs of nurses in clinical practice, nursing education and research. Participants will receive Continuing Education Credit.

The School of Nursing at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 2006 International Nursing Conference
Prevention and Management of Chronic Conditions: International Perspectives

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yale University schools of nursing and Ramathibodi Hospital and Mahidol University in Thailand hosted an international nursing conference which addressed prevention and management of chronic conditions. The conference was held January 25-27, 2006 in Bangkok.
