To demonstrate the lack of knowledge by the various parties I'll compare reimbursement rates of Portable X-Ray companies from nursing home patients vs. the alternative if our industry cannot give the nursing homes the service they need.

Reimbursement for transportation and x-ray by our industry: Approx. $100 net. Reimbursement for two ambulance trips and ER fee Approx. $1000 or more.


This is TEN times higher!!!

I can only hope CMS hierarchy and the Congress can read my little note and do further research on our industry. We save Medicare about $2 to $3 BILLION Annually.

As you may know, when there is a war going on, or an invasion if you prefer, all of the taxpayer's monies are directed to and used for military spending. This dynamic of government spending has an impact and takes priority over all other aspects of America's needs, i.e. health, education, social programs and so on.
