Creedmoor, NORTH CAROLINA - CS Medical LLC is pleased to announce the release of their latest probe storage solution. The CleanShieldTM Endoscope Storage Cabinet provides a proper dedicated storage area that protects delicate endoscopes from potential damage and minimizes environmental contamination of the disinfected endoscopes.
CleanShield is constructed completely of thermally fused polypropylene that can be disinfected easily and is non-hygroscopic. The cabinet was designed with special hanging mounts that allow each endoscope to hang vertically while being bathed in clean, filtered air. Designed to accommodate up to nine disinfected endoscope probes, the cabinet is complete with a locking epoxy-coated steel door.
CleanShield meets the recommendation of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates for storage of disinfected endoscopes. SGNA recommends that each probe be hung vertically, with distal tip hanging freely in a well-ventilated, dust-free area. SGNA further recommends storage surfaces be easily cleaned and disinfected. CS Medical offers Solucide®, a hard surface cleaner and disinfectant for use with the CleanShield Endoscope Storage Cabinet. Solucide is an EPA registered hard surface cleaner and disinfectant that is highly effective on a broad-spectrum of viruses, bacteria and organisms.
