Now adding to Konica Minolta Medical Division's growing influence in Northern Ireland is the recent installation of four leading `Regius' 190 CR Systems for the SPERRIN LAKELAND NHS TRUST.

Two of the four state-of-the-art systems were installed at the NHS Trust's OMAGH HOSPITAL, with the other two units going to its ENNISKILLEN HOSPITAL, both key medical establishments serving a busy catchment area.

The four 190 CR Systems digitally operate through the latest QA workstations supplied by the British company Insignia Medical Systems, these offering full desktop integration.


The Sperrin Lakeland NHS Trust's installations for its two major hospitals is recognised as the third important success for Konica Minolta Medical' in Northern Ireland.

Last year the company put in no less than four `Regius' 190 CR Systems and a `Drypro' 752 Laser Imager at the Royal Belfast Hospital For Sick Children, noted as one of the UK's most prestigious paediatric centres.

This upgrading of the CR imaging and data storage facilities at the major Belfast children's hospital came shortly after Konica Minolta modernised the imaging facilities at the A & E and main X-Ray Departments of The Mater Infirmorum Hospital, also a leading Belfast medical establishment dedicated to further improving its services for patients care.
