Having enough space was not an issue yet due to the magnetic field and the weight of the machine, the facility needed to replace the soil and install a concrete floor.

The cooling system was in place and working prior to the arrival of the MRI.

The new magnet arrived in March and scanning commenced on May 1st.

The large bore helps patients feel more comfortable and allows the facility to accommodate patients with more weight.
