These three basic questions are just a starting point, of course. Many more in-depth questions need to be asked and answered when an organization begins to approach an analytics strategy. However, these can serve as a good start to set expectations and provide an argument for investing in analytics. Once you have set the stage, you are ready to learn key lessons along the way and consistently improve your processes and outcomes along the way. Remember, analytics is a lot like life -- it is as much about the journey as the destination.
