St. Luke's Hospital is a non-profit, tertiary-care, teaching hospital with campuses in Bethlehem and Allentown in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The hospital offers 72 medical specialties.
Areas of expertise include: a fully accredited Level I trauma center, the region's most honored open-heart surgery program, oncology, neurosurgery, high-risk pregnancy, the highest level neonatal intensive care unit and the region's busiest obstetrical service, robotic surgery, geriatrics, radiology (St. Luke's has been designated a General Electric Healthcare Global Show Site) and vascular disease. The hospital has experienced growth in market share and growth in admissions for more than 20 years.

St. Luke's is one of only 400 members nationwide of the prestigious Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems. St. Luke's Hospital actively promotes an academic atmosphere through its affiliations with the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Temple University School of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. St. Luke's Hospital is fully approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Under skilled supervision, medical residents deliver day-to-day care of patients and exercise responsibility for major therapeutic decisions.
Important components of the organized teaching program are the regularly scheduled conferences and rounds. As part of the visiting professor program, instructors from across the nation regularly present lectures on current medical topics.
