Robbie Edge, CRA, FAHRA has received AHRA's highest honor. The Gold Award from the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators is given for service to the organization and the profession. The presentation was made at the association's recent annual meeting in Las Vegas.

"I am honored and humbled to receive the Gold Award this year as I believe there is no higher honor than to be selected to receive an award from one's colleagues."

Edge is past president of AHRA and director of imaging services for Sutter Gould Medical Foundation. The multi-specialty physician clinic provides services in Northern California including Stanislaus and San Joaquim counties.

"We have multiple clinics throughout both counties and my responsibility is to provide imaging services to all of those [more than 200] referring physicians," she said. The main site in Modesto incorporates X-Ray, mammography, CT and ultrasound. Other sites house cardiac nuclear medicine and other modalities. A new facility in Stockton will include CT, MR, ultrasound, bone densitometry, and X-Ray.
