Rosemary Kennedy, RN, MBA, chief nursing informatics officer, Siemens Medical Solutions, was elected Member-at-Large to AMIAs Nursing Informatics Work Group (NIWG). The NIWG promotes the advancement of nursing informatics within the larger multidisciplinary context of healthcare informatics by working on many levels in the following areas: professional practice, education, research, government, professional organizations, and the healthcare IT industry.

Siemens is committed to furthering AMIAs mission of transforming the U.S. health system and making measurable contributions to the improvement of the nations health through continued development and implementation of healthcare IT.

Rosemary is a perfect fit for AMIAs NIWG work group. Each day, she is advancing the professional practice of nursing by leading by example and providing counsel and academic programs that support the delivery of evidence-based care and enhanced patient and caregiver satisfaction, explained Janet Dillione, president, Siemens Medical Solutions Healthcare IT Division.
