FY 2016 Hospital-Acquired Condition Reduction Program results released
Just before the holidays, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Hospital-Acquired Condition (HAC) Reduction Program data on Hospital Compare for each eligible hospital, including the following measures:

• PSI-90 composite measure score.
• CLABSI, CAUTI and SSI measure scores.
• Domain 1 and Domain 2 scores.
• Total HAC score.
CMS also released the list of hospitals that are in the worst-performing quartile and subject to the 1 percent payment adjustment on the CMS website. Hospital performance data can be found on the HAC Reduction Program page of Hospital Compare (accessible from the Hospital Linking Quality to Payment section), and the list of hospitals subject to the payment adjustment for the FY 2016 HAC Reduction Program can be found under the Related Links section of the CMS Hospital-Acquired Conditions Reduction Program Web page.
