BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flywire (formerly peerTransfer), a leading provider of cross-border payment solutions, today announced a new sponsorship agreement with USCIPP, the U.S. Cooperative for International Patient Programs. USCIPP is the premier non-profit organization dedicated to expanding global access to U.S. expertise in high-quality healthcare. The agreement comes on the heels of Flywire’s entry into the $40B international patient care industry, announced in October 2015 and is expected to help expand the company’s visibility and market penetration.
USCIPP is a non-profit membership organization comprised of U.S. academic medical centers, healthcare systems and hospitals operating in the international patient care arena. The organization has 63 member institutions, including Rush University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, UCLA, Memorial Sloan Kettering, NYU Langone and Cleveland Clinic. USCIPP is part of the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL), a non-profit with a focus on improving health by strengthening healthcare leadership. Flywire was selected by USCIPP as one of only three sponsoring organizations – based on its commitment to supporting the work of USCIPP and its member healthcare providers. As part of the agreement, Flywire will sponsor USCIPP’s Annual Meeting on April 27-29 at UCLA in Los Angeles and offer USCIPP members education and advice on streamlining international patient care payments.
