In the past I've helped hospitals in their dealings with vendors and in a way I will be doing the same now. The typical hospital has items squirreled away in closets and basements and attics and in some cases even in warehouses. These items are too valuable to discard but not worth anyone's time to concentrate on selling. They build up until they're finally discarded and that's a shame. Our Clean Sweep program offers hospitals a way to turn these assets into cash and free up space at the same time, so in a sense it's the same kind of work I've always done.

LC: I love to investigate supply chain solutions, read about other industries and how they solve their issues. I'm currently reading "The End of Cheap China", by Shaun Rein, that covers the rising cost of skilled labor in China and how companies are bringing some manufacturing back (re-shoring) or closer (near-shoring) to the U.S.
I must admit I'm also a yard sale junkie. Growing up, my father owned several antique stores and appraised estates. I love finding that one incredible item, (not too far from my professional interests). The truth is everything I know about negotiations, I learned from my father. I always hear his voice in the back of my head, he's always with me.
