Chartwise Medical Systems to display latest Chartwise 2.0 technology at 2016 ACDIS conference

by David Feistel, Managing Account Executive, LFPR | May 08, 2016
ChartWise Medical Systems, Inc. (www.chartwisemed.com), the award-winning industry leader in Computer-Assisted Clinical Documentation Improvement (CACDI) software, will be demonstrating their latest ChartWise 2.0 software technology at the 9th Annual ACDIS Convention May 23-26 in Atlanta.

ChartWise’s primary focus at this year’s ACDIS conference will be to connect with physician advisors and demonstrate the functionality contained within the ChartWise 2.0 solution to support their role in their facility’s program.

Included in the application is the ability for an admission to be escalated to a physician advisor for review and follow-up, for the advisor to efficiently communicate with the CDI staff on the admission, and to have reporting metrics on the advisor role.

“ACDIS 2016 is the ideal venue to exhibit the ChartWise 2.0 product for CDI professionals who understand the difference between your basic documentation solution and something that is going to provide significant and ongoing value for CDI staff and healthcare professionals,” said Dr. Jon Elion, founder and CEO of ChartWise. “We’re particular excited to show off our Physician Advisor functionality, which we believe will prove to be a tremendous benefit for physician advisors. While our efficient workflow, advanced user interface and reporting features are always fan favorites, this year we’re eager to come to ACDIS and demonstrate why ChartWise 2.0 is the CDI software of choice for physician advisors.”

ChartWise is also excited to sponsor the ACDIS “Physician Advisor’s Role in CDI Boot Camp” prior to the convention on May 22-23. This boot camp event will allow physician advisors across the country to come together for two days and fully immerse themselves in CDI. The Physician Advisor’s Role in CDI Boot Camp is a two-day, classroom-based intensive training course with a heavy focus on the changing documentation requirements under ICD-10 and ensuring full and accurate physician documentation in order to properly code records for ICD-10. It also includes new sections on inpatient quality measures and outpatient CDI.

The annual ACDIS national conference is the nation’s largest event dedicated to the unique needs of the CDI profession. The conference offers unparalleled peer-to-peer networking with over 1,500 CDI professionals, and the nation’s foremost CDI experts present more than 50 diverse sessions on the latest trends and cutting-edge techniques to enhance CDI programs.
