MWA is truly collaboration and is becoming “the” place to be in medicine. In addition to the 10 hours of CME it produces, MWA invites other groups to co-locate their meetings during the same time to create a synergistic gathering of like-minded medical professionals not seen anywhere else. The groups co-locating at MWA in 2016 are American College of Healthcare Executives – SouthEast Texas Chapter (ACHE-SETC), PricewaterhouseCoopers CEO FORUM, the Texas Gulf Coast Supply Chair Chapter of the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (TGCSCC- AHRMM), The Texas Tribune, the American Marketing Association – Houston Chapter, the San Jose Clinic, Texas Medical Center Texas Startup Pitch competition, and the Texas Medical Center Student Poster Competition.

As exciting as the programming is, MWA will have an expo hall filled with companies showing their latest innovations. On Thursday, they will host a job fair with over 35 medical companies and institutions onsite to interview candidates for immediate openings.


All in all, MWA continues to grow its scope and impact – and is becoming a must-see show for medical innovators.
