About Mount Sinai Queens
Mount Sinai Queens has been serving the communities of western Queens and beyond since 1999 when it acquired the former Western Queens Community Hospital. The Hospital has been delivering health care in this location for 120 years.

With 235-licensed acute care beds, Mount Sinai Queens currently provides adult medical and surgical services, with a team of nearly 500 physicians representing close to 40 medical and surgical specialties and sub-specialties. Between the physicians and staff, 35 languages are spoken; just one of the many ways that Mount Sinai Queens serves the needs of the culturally diverse population of our community.

In addition to providing inpatient care, Mount Sinai Queens serves the communities of Western Queens and beyond by providing primary and specialty outpatient care; occupational, speech and physical therapy; outpatient surgery; cancer care and a range of radiological testing.
Mount Sinai Queens is the only hospital in Queens to bear the prestigious Mount Sinai name and is now one of seven hospitals and the Icahn School of Medicine that form the Mount Sinai Health System. The Hospital combines the medical excellence of an academic medical center with the compassionate, caring environment you expect from a community hospital.

Our commitment to patient safety and an outstanding patient experience is unwavering as demonstrated by our excellent record of reduced pressure injuries, UTIs, restraints and falls along with best in class patient experience scores, recent Magnet® designation for nursing excellence and our full embrace of EPIC, an electronic medical record, across all inpatient and outpatient departments.
