Stamford, CT - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has announced that Amerinet, one of the leading healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the United States, has awarded two new contracts to Fujifilm: a film and imager contract, and a digital x-ray and PACS contract. Both contracts are effective Jan. 1, 2007, through December 31, 2009.

The film and imager contract includes a comprehensive assortment of medical film, imagers and related products, including: conventional wet film, dry film and mammography film, and Fujifilm's leading line of DryPix™ dry thermal and laser imagers.
The CR/DR and PACS contract includes Fujifilm's full line of cassette-based CR systems, high-throughput DR systems and Synapse®[< AE>][< AE>][< AE>][< AE>][< AE>] PACS. The company offers the broadest digital x-ray product line to meet the requirements of nearly any imaging application. And when offered in conjunction with Synapse, an advanced, fully Web-based and scalable PACS, Fujifilm is positioned as the ideal choice for Amerinet members.
