Stamford, CT - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has announced that Amerinet, one of the leading healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the United States, has awarded two new contracts to Fujifilm: a film and imager contract, and a digital x-ray and PACS contract. Both contracts are effective Jan. 1, 2007, through December 31, 2009.

"Having just experienced record sales with Amerinet in 2006, Fujifilm is excited about the tremendous opportunities that these contracts present for the future," said Phil Buffington, Fujifilm's Executive Director, National Accounts. "The past several years Amerinet member facilities have taken full advantage of the high value these contracts provide, benefiting from our complete portfolio of analog and digital products, and we look forward to continuing to meet their imaging needs for at least the next three years."

The film and imager contract includes a comprehensive assortment of medical film, imagers and related products, including: conventional wet film, dry film and mammography film, and Fujifilm's leading line of DryPix™ dry thermal and laser imagers.
