August 23, 2016, Reston, VA — With Engage, a new member benefit, American College of Radiology (ACR) members gain a powerful resource to network with 37,000 radiology colleagues, exchange knowledge and share solutions.

Engage, which automatically enrolls all ACR members today, is a cloud-based, private online community. Numerous communities have been identified for launch, including an open forum for general discussion, forums for residents and fellows and Senior and/or Retired Section members and numerous specialty communities (for example, body imaging; breast imaging; general, small and rural practice; interventional and cardiovascular imaging; medical physics; neuroradiology; nuclear medicine and molecular imaging; pediatric radiology; radiation oncology; and ultrasound).

“Engage represents a unique opportunity for ACR members to interact with each other to share information and solve practical problems. Members will be able to connect in a variety of self-selected open communities, while closed communities will facilitate the work of our commissions and committees,” said ACR Chief Executive Officer William T. Thorwarth Jr., MD, FACR.
