Steven Haberlein, also a veteran of the medical imaging industry, joined FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA in November 2002 as Northwest Regional General Manager. Under Haberlein's leadership his team consistently produced high results and was the top performing sales region in 2004, the same year Haberlein was honored as Regional General Manager of the Year. In March of 2006 he was promoted to Executive Director of Channel Sales and Operations, assuming responsibility for the development and implementation of strategies for the rapidly-growing private practice market and other valued channel outlets, as well as for managing Fujifilm's key business relationships with partners including Siemens Medical Systems and Stryker Orthopedics.

In his new role, Haberlein will lead all field sales activities in the eastern half of the United States while continuing to oversee Channel and Sales Operations.

"Fujifilm has long been recognized as an industry leader and innovator at the forefront of imaging technology," said John Weber, Fujifilm's Executive Vice President. "With the talent and experience that Kaz Hishinuma and Steve Haberlein bring to these vice president roles, we're confident that under their leadership we are well positioned to anticipate customer needs and further strengthen our position in this rapidly changing radiology market."
