MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 17, 2016 – IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging, the global leader in intraoperative imaging, announced that the company has obtained regulatory Certificates from the Japanese Registration Certification Body for the IMRIS Surgical Theatre iMRI Aera 1.5T and IMRIS Surgical Theatre iMRI 3T Skyra systems, allowing for sales and marketing of these systems in Japan.
This newest imaging technology, based on the Siemens Aera 1.5T and Skyra 3.0T MRI scanners, enables IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging and its customers the ability to deliver even better image quality, faster 3D image acquisition, and improved ease-of-use and workflow during surgical procedures using intraoperative MRI (iMRI).
