“Medicare, in one of the biggest changes in its 50-year history, has overhauled how it pays doctors, rewarding clinicians for quality patient care. How is this change impacting radiologists and their practices? During five days of powerhouse programming, attendees will gain practical knowledge and tools to maintain thriving practices in the new health care delivery and payment model environment as well as be able to network and ask questions of the experts,” said Shawn Teague, MD, FACR, chair of the ACR 2017 program committee and the ACR Commission on Education.

At ACR 2017, attendees will be equipped by medical economics experts, health policy leaders and patient advocates to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, added Teague. The diverse and flexible program will offer more than 100 hours of educational sessions, including ones targeted for residents, fellows and early-career physicians.
