February 28, 2017 -- ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Two medical imaging technologists and one radiation therapist have been selected to receive travel grants of up to $4,000 each that will make possible their attendance at educational and professional conferences this year. 2017 marks the second year that the ASRT Foundation and Siemens Healthineers have collaborated to award the grants.
This grant opportunity was developed to promote peer-to-peer education and support professional development in the radiologic technology community. Awarded funds help cover the cost of conference registration fees, travel and lodging for recipients who may not otherwise be able to attend an educational conference.

Kelly Bell, R.T.(R)(M)(CT), of Paradise Valley, Nevada, who will attend the Siemens Innovations for Imaging conference to be held in Atlanta in March.
Dale Bourgeois, R.T.(R)(N), of Richland, Washington, who will attend the ASRT Educational Symposium to be held in Orlando in June.
Rachel Dency, R.T.(T), of Coral Springs, Florida, who will attend the ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference to be held in San Diego in September.
