Continuing Medical Education - Perinatal-Pediatric Outreach Education Program (PPOEP)

The Perinatal Pediatric Outreach Education Program (PPOEP) offers education classes, consults with physicians, and offers professional support to physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and patients. Our goal is to impact obstetrical, neonatal, and pediatric outcomes. Currently, we offer the following activities to support hospitals:

* In-service programs
* 24-hour hotline for consults/referrals with maternal/ fetal medicine, neonatal, and pediatric physicians
* Emergency transport service
* Transport/case reviews and training to care for high risk pregnancies and newborns

All courses offered at University Hospital provide continuing education credit for participants who attend 80% of the session.

Educational programs are provided by experienced staff members and faculty. These include programs designed by the PPOEP staff as well as nationally recognized courses. Presentations that cover basic and advanced topics are tailored to meet the individual and unique needs of each hospital/group.

Registration

REGISTRATION FEES : Advanced registration is required for all educational offerings. Fees may be paid by check or money order and should be made payable to Perinatal-Pediatric Outreach Education. Payment must be received ten business days prior to all scheduled offerings. No purchase orders will be accepted. We reserve the right to provide substitute instructors of equal qualification.

The last four numbers of each participant's Social Security Number is required for contact hour credit. If the SSN is not provided, the CEU certificate will not be available. This information must accompany registration.
