Warren Cole spent the first phase of his career with Chase Manhattan Bank, where he cycled through the executive training program, the restructuring division (workouts), and the real estate finance division. Cole transitioned to real estate development with the Macklowe organization, where he became president and was responsible for acquisitions, due diligence, and finance. He led the firm through the 5-year real estate crash of the early 90s enabling the company to resume its prominence in the Manhattan real estate market. In the third phase of his career, Warren created an investment vehicle called Care Ventures which acquired 100 healthcare leases from a REIT that was in distress. Warren restructured the leases and either sold them off or took assets back, whereby his group became the de facto operators. This led to the fourth and current phase of his career with Post Acute Partners. Cole graduated from Brandeis University in 1981 with a degree in economics, Phi Beta Kappa. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two daughters.
