June 14, 2017 – UniCancer, a private not-for-profit organisation, will use Mirada software to significantly enhance their radiotherapy treatment. Mirada will deliver tools for deformable image registration, contouring and adaptive therapy. This software will also support UniCancer’s ongoing training and research developments along the complete oncology pathway.

Farid Goudjil, physicist at Institut Curie in Paris, part of UniCancer and already using Mirada’s solutions previously said “We have chosen Mirada as a partner to bring efficiency gains across all our sites with their automated contouring solutions, and to support the implementation of complex treatment protocols thanks to their multimodality image fusion platform. The flexibility of their software will facilitate the implementation of the existing clinical workflows of our different sites”

Through the 3-year agreement, all UniCancer affiliates will be able to purchase Mirada’s radiotherapy application, RTx™, and its automatic contouring application, Workflow Box™. By providing tools for deformable image registration, region contouring and adaptive therapy, RTx will allow radiotherapy departments to improve the accuracy and consistency of their treatment processes, while Workflow Box’s zero-click auto-contouring™ and adaptive re-contouring of organs-at-risk will automate particularly time-consuming tasks.
