Unless you've been away for a awhile (far, far away), you know medical equipment can be very pricey.
That's why more and more healthcare facilities consider renting high-end equipment first -- so they can 'try it before they buy it.'
Now, most of the equipment for rent isn't brand new. But many facilities -- and certainly private doctors -- aren't looking for the latest and greatest. What they want is a good, late-model machines. And just as you really can't judge a new or used car with a 10-minute test drive, you can't get a feel for an ultrasound system or C-arm in just a few minutes, either.

So think about. Maybe you should try before you buy. And many times you can set up a 'rent with option to buy' deal, so if you like a machine, you can keep it.
