George Fower knows what his clients want: a quick solution and speedy cash for their unused machinery. The owner of Altair Imaging, an Anaheim-based supplier of used and refurbished imaging equipment, specializes in providing both.

"We've got 10,000 square feet of warehouse space and enough financing that we can pick up old equipment and pay for it on the spot," says Fower, whose one-year old company reflects over 30 combined years of experience in medical imaging equipment. "We can store anything and resell it later. That's a huge plus for small facilities looking to unload machinery." Altair, which recently began focusing on small hospitals and imaging centers, remarkets old equipment in Latin America and Asia. "We're doing very well, so far. We're getting customers fast cash and saving them a lot of headaches," says Fower.
Fower clearly enjoys saving things: Altair is about to launch a new Power Factoring Optimizer that promises to save imaging operations up to 35% in electrical load costs.
