Waldo, MD, PhD (Hon.) to its Scientific Advisory Board.

Led by Robert Hauser, MD, former president of the Heart Rhythm Society, the company’s Scientific Advisory Board gathers and applies expertise from top cardiology opinion leaders toward the advancement of cardiac arrhythmia research and patient care. Its members provide the company and industry with medical and scientific expertise in areas related to its current and future products and services. The group is also responsible for recommending scientific studies that will enhance products in terms of quality, market adoption and cost effectiveness.

Camm is Professor of Clinical Cardiology at St. George's, University of London, and Professor of Cardiology at London’s Imperial College. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and an experienced researcher and clinician focused on addressing specific issues associated with atrial fibrillation, other cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. Camm has led a top group of specialists, the European Network for Translational Research in Atrial Fibrillation (EUTRAF). He is currently President of the European Heart Rhythm Association and the Arrhythmia Alliance, among many more distinguished roles.

Dr. Albert L. Waldo
An international authority on AFib, Dr. Waldo is a recipient of numerous top honorary awards in cardiology and a pioneer in the discovery and development of treatments for rapid heart and other cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Waldo is The Walter H. Pritchard Professor of Cardiology, Professor of Medicine, and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. He is also Associate Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine for Academic Affairs at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He has published scientific articles in more than 450 publications; is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and served as President of the Ohio Chapter; former President of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE), now called the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS); a Fellow and founding member of HRS; a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association and the American College of Chest Physicians; served as President of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Society; held committee memberships with the National Institutes of Health, among many other distinguished roles.
