CALEDONIA, Mich., Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Clear Image Devices, a leading medical imaging equipment supplier, announced today the addition of a new patient-positioning solution to its product catalog: the Multiview Positioning Platform. This new platform specializes in obtaining multiple weight-bearing views of patients' lower extremities.

"The Multiview Positioning Platform cuts imaging time in half," said Ellen Mooney, manager, Clear Image Devices. "It allows radiographers to obtain multiple views in minutes to save significant time for lower-extremity studies."

The Multiview Positioning Platform is the newest addition to Clear Image Devices' expansive catalog of radiographic positioners and protectors found in hospital and clinical settings around the world. With four imaging-panel placement locations, technologists can obtain lower-extremity views quickly and safely. Two grab bars provide patient stability, even for those patients with mobility issues.

"We created the Multiview in collaboration with a leading medical imaging facility," Mooney said. "It is designed to eliminate considerable patient movement and costly retakes, and improve patient satisfaction. Early feedback from radiographers indicates that the platform works perfectly and is saving them valuable time."

The Multiview Positioning Platform is designed to be compatible with virtually all DR and CR systems, including Siemens Ysio, GE Flash Pad, Philips Wireless, GE, Canon, Carestream, Fuji, Konica Minolta Aero, AGFA, Shimadzu, and Samsung.
