A HIMSS member since 1994, Dr. Bradley discovered her passion for informatics by leading a project to develop a computerized tracking system for an emergency department. "I am delighted and honored to serve an organization that allows me to indulge my passion - clinical informatics," Dr. Bradley said. "I believe our initiatives are critical to efforts to improve healthcare across the globe."
Dr. Bradley, a recipient of the HIMSS Informatics Nursing Leadership Award, is enthusiastic about supporting opportunities for learning globally and across disciplines during her term as vice chair. "We have many opportunities, ranging from the Nicholas E. Davies Awards of Excellence to educational conferences in the US, Europe and Asia," she noted. "These programs support networking, the building of collaborative relationships, and the development of new ideas to spark creative endeavors, thus fostering improved care processes in our complex, fragmented healthcare systems."
