HOUSTON (September 14, 2018) – Oregon Community Imaging has chosen the Digisonics structured reporting solution for their OB/GYN, Vascular and General Ultrasound studies. Added remote reading capabilities will provide clinicians the convenience of access to the Digisonics system from anywhere at anytime.
The facility will enjoy interoperability between its incumbent vendors including Epic, Philips and GE. Interfaces autopopulate data directly from the facility’s Philips and GE ultrasound machines into the Digisonics structured reporting system. This will save valuable time and eliminate redundant data entry which is prone to human error. Finalized reports will be sent as DICOM images for store and easy review with the associated patient’s images in Philips PACS. An HL7 Interface will enable data flow between Digisonics and Epic EMR.
As a result of the seamless integration between Digisonics and the incumbent systems, Oregon Community Imaging adds efficiency to its reporting workflow, improving turnaround times and overall patient care.
