Most of Lundy's customers come to them for the general purpose of purchasing used MRIs and CT scanners, but Lundy is best known for being accredited for the safe decommissioning, transport of Siemens MRIs. Lundy also holds the distinction of being the largest European provider of used MRI's and CT scanners.

"We've experienced a tremendous growth period over the last six months," says Harry Khabra, Sales Manager at Lundy International Ltd. "I believe that it's due to our reputation and the Internet. Being part of DOTmed and being DOTmed Certified has helped us grow our customer base in Africa, Asia and South America. People trust us and know that they'll get a good product when they come to us."

Lundy has faced a few challenges over the past few years. Due to trade agreements, it has been difficult for Lundy to reach the Iranian market. Also, due to a weak American dollar, it has made trade with America difficult as well. But none of this has stopped Lundy from persevering - or rising to meet any challenge.

In fact, Lundy's greatest challenge came in Africa, when it was faced with trying to get a CT scanner working in a local hospital. Through trial and error and additional monies, Lundy's excellent engineering staff was able to fix any and all technical problems and have the CT scanner working so that lives could be saved.

When it comes to manufacturers, Lundy's technical staff is so well-versed, they can and have decommissioned GE and Siemens units within four days.

Khabra, who is extremely proud of Lundy and the high quality of the used products it carries, cautions all customers regarding purchasing on the Internet. He believes that while something may appear fine in a photo,
customers should definitely know the company they're dealing with before purchasing anything.
