West Virginia University's (WVU) Robert C Byrd Health Sciences Campus is a large, modern health sciences complex that includes Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Pharmacy, three hospitals, a physician office building, and state-of-the-art cancer and eye centers. The School of Medicine serves more than 2,500 students with a variety of educational program. The mission of the Health Sciences Center is to improve the health of West Virginians through the education of health professionals, through basic/clinical scientific research and research in rural health care delivery, through the provision of continuing professional education, and through participation in the provision of direct and supportive health care.

Program Overview
This structured one year clinical fellowship will prepare the fellow trainee for a high level of success in academic, research, and private practice settings in Nuclear Medicine, including state-of-the-art practice with PET and PET/CT applications for oncologic, metabolic, and other applications currently in use and under development. The fellow trainee will fulfill all requirements for the American Board of Radiology's Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Nuclear Medicine by completing this program.
