The International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers (IAMERS) has announced industry veteran Pat Fitzgerald is joining its board of directors.
"I believe the best part of Pat joining the board at IAMERS is his diverse background," IAMERS president, Diana Upton, told HCB News. "He brings a unique level of industry expertise. He'll be able to help with IAMERS' marketing endeavors, as he understands that our members are not all the same."
Fitzgerald has spent his entire career in healthcare, and is passionate about 'right to repair' and creating a level playing field for competition across OEM and third-party equipment stakeholders. He also has a long history of supporting and contributing to IAMERS initiatives.

"I'm excited and honored to be asked to join the IAMERS board of directors," Fitzgerald said. "IAMERS has done a great job of providing a voice for its members with advocacy and education, especially as it relates to helping the FDA and other regulatory bodies understand our industry better. IAMERS members play a critical role in our healthcare system by providing cost effective alternatives to new OEM equipment, parts and service."
