Medical imaging components manufacturer, Dunlee announces the introduction of the Tube Service Assistant, their new online support tool. This web-based integrated program was demonstrated at this week's RSNA show in Chicago (South Hall Booth 2703). It is scheduled for a January 2008 release.

The Tube Service Assistant program is an online support assistant for ISOs and clinical engineers, and is designed to provide pictorial and video instruction for CT tube installation. It is intended to serve as an adjunct, based on OEM service manual guidelines, refreshing the tube installation processes for service engineers.

"This will dramatically improve the flexibility of ISOs and clinical engineering departments to service GE's and Siemens' installed base, by providing virtual access to key information while on site. It also enables us to support our key customers by making the Tube Service Assistant tool accessible for their entire service organization," said David Kuehn, Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for Dunlee. "CT tube replacements and system troubleshooting can be a complicated process. ISOs spend considerable time and money for hands-on CT training. The Tube Service Assistant is designed to enhance their training via online support by offering detailed descriptions, photos and video clips of complicated service processes."
