Creature Comforts in Chicago

SwissRay offered RSNA
visitors chocolate, coffee,
even massages!
It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it and there's little doubt the RSNA was a welcome change for most attendees. To make the experience even more enjoyable, many exhibitors provided special touches beyond the usual pens or portfolios. (DOTmed is raffling an iPod Touch.)

A visit to the TeraRecon installation at RSNA was not only a showcase of the company's blazing servers and "thin client advanced visualization." It was also a great place for cappuccino, latte, or espresso served at the bar. "You can't have European visitors without a cappuccino machine, they expect it," the company's American marketing representative said.

It was one of many nice pit stops on the showroom floor, which also had a prominent Starbuck's outside the North Hall.

SwissRay did not disappoint with its Swiss chocolate bars and a full bar and lounge, complete with massages! (Many attendees can probably use a massage after five days on their feet.)

In the South Hall, although somewhat tucked away, are vendors of panini's and Asian fare.

Even the press was well fed with free lunch in the breakroom. Thanks, RSNA!
