One investment for fluoroscopy and general radiography
The versatile DR 800 can handle a full range of radiography and fluoroscopy exams, without the need for additional specialty rooms. The care provider can choose to work in the room tableside with the patient, or use the remote functionality.
Advanced Cesium Iodide (CsI) detectors offer high-speed, high-resolution imaging and the potential for a lower dose, while LiveVision Technology allows accurate dose-free remote positioning.
MUSICA image quality
The DR 800 comes with the MUSICA imaging workstation, which presents a single, intuitive interface for smooth and efficient imaging.
MUSICA image processing software brings intelligence to the entire digital imaging process for “first time right” imaging without manual post-processing. It delivers exquisite details throughout the image and offers the potential to lower patient dose. MUSICA can handle fluoroscopic images with the same high quality and low-dose features that have made it the ‘gold standard’ for radiology departments around the world.
Positive patient experiences and improved delivery of patient care
“We appreciate this opportunity to work with Hancock Health and with our longtime and trusted partner Radiation Services of Indiana, to meet the digital imaging needs of this healthcare network. The innovative design of the DR 800 and our industry-leading MUSICA image processing software provide excellent image quality, a potential dose reduction of up to 60%, and outstanding efficiency gains for this important, expanding health system in Indiana,” says Jared Houk, Agfa’s Senior Vice President, Radiology Solutions, North America.
